About the Role
Provide strategic technical leadership and expertise to support critical customers in designing and implementing complex ADI solutions. Serve as a distinguished technical authority bridging ADI technology with customer needs, leading pre-sales and implementation activities for strategic accounts. Guide development teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to product strategy based on deep customer insights and market trends.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Industrial Ethernet solutions (TSN, Gigabit Ethernet, 10BASE-T1L, Single Pair Ethernet, etc.).
- Offer technical proposals and customer design support for PHY, Switch, and Network Synchronization products.
- Participate in customer system architecture design to lead solution proposals.
- Provide technical support to customers in industrial equipment, robotics, PLCs, motion control, and process automation.
- Assist with HW/SW level design reviews, debugging, and performance evaluations.
- Resolve technical issues with customer development teams and achieve Design Wins.
- Act as a technical expert for IEEE TSN (802.1AS, Qbv, Qci, etc.).
- Conduct technical training for customers and sales teams.
- Stay informed about next-generation industrial network technology trends and share internally.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Business Units, and Applications Engineering to drive customer projects.
- Coordinate technically with domestic Japanese and global development teams.
- Provide feedback on customer requirements to the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Ethernet PHY, Industrial Ethernet, and TSN.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, etc.).
- A degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communications Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency.
- Ability to communicate technical information in English.
- Over 5 years of experience as an FAE, Applications Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
