About the Role
This role involves playing a key part in growing the Accounting Technology capability by working with clients to review finance systems and processes, select technology solutions, and deliver successful implementations. The position combines finance and technology expertise to enhance client operational efficiency, reporting, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate client workshops to understand business requirements and finance processes
- Support clients through finance system specification and selection
- Lead and support accounting system implementations, including configuration, testing, training and go-live activities
- Project manage multiple engagements, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and budgets
- Coordinate data migration activities and support user acceptance testing
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and system utilisation
- Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Contribute to the development of our Accounting Technology methodologies, solutions and best practices
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification
- At least 3 years' experience in accounting technology, finance transformation or ERP implementation
- Proven experience delivering accounting software implementations, ideally including iplicit and/or Sage Intacct
- Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and reporting requirements
- Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong project management and organisational abilities
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service
