About the Role
Cohen & Co's internship program offers hands-on client experience, technical knowledge, and insight into the firm's 'Great People First' culture. Interns will build relationships with peers and leaders while developing their professional skills.
Responsibilities
- Dive into tax compliance, prepare returns, conduct research, and perform planning duties.
- Connect with peers, mentors, and engagement teams through client work, firm events, and internship program experiences.
- Receive ongoing feedback to sharpen technical skills and develop professionally.
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives such as business development, recruitment, DEI efforts, and community service.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Successfully completed introductory accounting course(s) and at least one intermediate accounting course before the internship program start date.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Pursuing required credit hours to sit for the CPA Exam.
Work Type
- Full-time (32-40 hours/week)
- Part-time (minimum 20-25 hours/week)
