About the Role
JM Transportation Solutions is hiring a dependable and professional CDL Shuttle Bus Driver to operate resident shuttle service for The Pinnacle Apartments in Ithaca, New York. This is a great opportunity for a driver looking for a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, steady weekday hours, and a split shift that leaves the middle of the day open.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the assigned passenger shuttle bus.
- Transport residents according to the established route and schedule.
- Complete all scheduled stops and follow designated pickup and drop-off locations.
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with passengers.
- Communicate delays, traffic conditions, vehicle concerns, or route issues to Dispatch.
- Maintain safe driving practices at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
- Follow all JM Transportation Solutions safety policies and operating procedures.
- Comply with applicable DOT, New York State, and company requirements.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Valid Passenger (P) Endorsement.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Ability to pass required background and drug screening.
- Dependable transportation to and from The Pinnacle Apartments.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Professional attitude and good customer-service skills.
