About the Role
Office Hours is seeking a Business Operations Associate to tackle critical company challenges, reporting to the Business Operations Lead. This role offers the opportunity to partner with leadership and contribute to the company's growth, initially focusing on the revenue engine and then addressing other significant business problems. The ideal candidate is an AI-native, high-performing individual with a background in consulting or operations, eager to build solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build the RevOps function, owning goal setting, performance tracking, and business operations for Client Solutions and Sales.
- Develop the business analytics function to provide leadership with commercial insights for strategic planning.
- Run business operations using AI, identifying and automating rote tasks to scale output efficiently.
- Redesign team structures and information ecosystems to optimize AI integration.
- Design incentives, pricing, and margin strategies in partnership with Finance.
- Own the renewals process, including usage reporting, QBRs for key clients, and renewal/upsell plans.
- Launch new initiatives through market research, TAM sizing, and new product/market launches.
Requirements
- AI-native with a proactive approach to using AI for operations and a knack for distinguishing scalable solutions from experiments.
- Relentlessly curious with the ability to apply insights from diverse domains to complex problems.
- Demonstrates low ego and high ownership, willing to build processes from scratch and handle diverse tasks.
- Structured and rigorous approach to problem-solving, capable of breaking down complex issues and adapting recommendations based on data.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with proficiency or eagerness to learn SQL.
- Possesses commercial instinct and the ability to reason about strategy and align incentives.
- Exhibits executive presence, comfortable presenting to leadership and collaborating with technical teams.
- 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a similar analytical role at a high-growth company.
