About the Role
Walsh is seeking Safety Interns for projects in Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, and Oklahoma City, OK. Our internship program prepares you for leadership positions by providing hands-on experience in project engineering and field management, with opportunities to travel across the United States. We align your internship with your academic and career goals to set you on the right career path after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Support and work with the on-site safety manager and safety staff to promote and manage Walsh Safety Programs.
- Participate in field safety walks.
- Assist the safety manager with first-day safety orientations for new employees.
- Complete accident and incident reports.
- Oversee the safety and health of personnel working on company jobsites.
- Help the safety manager coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors, ensuring company safety policies and procedures are understood and implemented.
Requirements
- The ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
- Specific roles may require relocation.
- Willingness to relocate is eligible for a living allowance.
