Responsibilities
- Analyze and define software requirements to determine specifications and standards.
- Propose software solutions.
- Determine the cost of new and modified systems and engage in the proposal process.
- Develop, design, and edit original applications, or modify third-party applications.
- Test and approve applications.
- Train users and write training manuals.
- Manage user support and feedback.
- Troubleshoot cloud issues/failures, resolve alerts, and perform remediation activities.
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical/engineering support and updates.
- Professionally represent security interactions with internal and external customers and business partners.
- Stay technically current with industry standards and perform IT research about new technologies.
- Employ exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues before they affect business productivity.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in a modern programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, Java, .NET/C#.
- Experience in managing, monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting.
- Specific demonstrated experience mapping business processes and comparing those processes to industry best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting of deployments.
- Demonstrated experience in a Development or Systems Engineer role.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Working knowledge of ITIL v3 framework (certification preferred).
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects with aggressive due dates.
- Excellent understanding of network, system, and application security.
- 6+ years of experience in progressively complex IT technical roles within an enterprise environment.
