About the Role
Bob Johnson Imports is seeking a customer-focused, team-driven professional to join our Award-Winning Service Team. We are looking for someone who embodies our core values of Teamwork, Integrity, Drive, and Personal Improvement.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with professionalism and genuine care
- Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle issues clearly
- Schedule appointments and manage the flow of work through the service department
- Write accurate, detailed repair orders and record technician notes
- Provide clear, honest estimates of time, cost, and labor
- Advise customers on routine maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services
- Act as a reliable liaison between customers and technicians
- Monitor repair progress and communicate updates throughout the day
- Contact customers with any changes to timelines or estimates and secure approval for additional work
- Ensure every customer leaves satisfied, informed, and confident in their service experience
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, communication, and customer care
Requirements
- Customer-service mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Previous service advisor or automotive experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
