About the Role
This internship offers students real exposure to how Dow Jones operates, with interns working on meaningful projects alongside teams to gain hands-on skills that impact the business. The program provides a supportive, engaging, and fun environment focused on valued work and growth.
Responsibilities
- Edit down interviews and assist on shoots
- Help research stories and coordinate production logistics and schedule interviews for video and audio stories
- Organize footage and handle other administrative tasks
- Help repackage video and audio content for social media platforms
- Help the podcast team with research, fact-checking, finding contextual audio materials (e.g., news clippings) and transcriptions
Requirements
- Completed at least two years towards your Bachelor’s degree
- A working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Knowledge of Canon or Sony cameras and ability to shoot awesome video with a smartphone
- Exceptional writing skills
- Experience or interest in building social media strategy
- An interest in business, finance and all the ways money makes the world go round
- The ability to ask questions and apply new insights
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program
- Graduating in Dec 2027 – July 2029 (U.S.)
- Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
