About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to join the business during an exciting period of growth and transition, following the integration of Eurofins' E&E business into UL Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, and record results.
- Ensure test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly.
- Interface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s), and Project Coordinator(s).
- Monitor multiple projects underway.
- Prepare test reports and related documents.
- Keep current with industry technical developments and disseminate to the team.
- Support laboratory managers and team leaders with assignments of new projects to technicians based on competency.
- Support the Austin team with coordination of testing activities.
- Support laboratory managers with tracking of team utilization and identify potential issues (technical, procedural, and commercial).
Requirements
- Four-year college Engineering degree, or other technical degree with relevant work experience.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Receptive to and accepting guidance from others.
- Ability to deal with difficult people and problems.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
