About the Role

The Senior Project Manager, Enterprise Transformation will plan, establish, and manage technical projects to delivery while serving as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. This role aligns projects with needs and requirements, constructs detailed project plans, achieves milestones, and communicates project progress across the stakeholder audience. The ideal candidate is highly responsive to constant priority changes and a results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment leading complex, cross-functional, high-impact technology projects that support PPL’s self-directed care initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive, cross-functional project plans, defining project scope, goals, deliverables, resource requirements, and timelines.
  • Direct multiple concurrent technology projects, tracking milestones, managing change requests, coordinating project activities, and ensuring deliverables align with organizational priorities, commitments, and technology standards.
  • Conduct project evaluations, document lessons learned, implement follow-up actions, and promote adherence to established project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Lead project teams through complex and evolving initiatives by creating structure, driving collaboration, building consensus, and providing clear direction in ambiguous situations.
  • Facilitate project meetings, communicate status updates, risks, challenges, and resolutions to stakeholders, while effectively engaging cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Foster team success by onboarding and mentoring project managers, holding project resources and leadership accountable to project commitments, and strengthening collaboration across departments.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints while proactively developing solutions to maintain project schedules and business objectives.
  • Plan and optimize team capacity by allocating resources effectively, providing project guidance, and ensuring project teams meet deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Monitor operational performance and internal client requests, recommending process improvements and efficiency enhancements that support successful project delivery and continuous organizational improvement.

Requirements

  • PM’d major tech transformations, ideally CRM system implementations/enhancements/migrations (MS Dynamics experience a big plus) and Payroll systems implementations and migrations (MS Navision experience a HUGE plus).
  • Demonstrated ownership of one or more complete ERP implementation phases — requirements and fit-gap analysis, configuration, integration, testing, cutover, and post go-live stabilization — on a program of comparable scale and complexity.
  • Working knowledge of core ERP process domains (finance, HCM/payroll, procurement, or case and service management) sufficient to translate business requirements into configuration and integration decisions and to challenge vendor recommendations.
  • Experience planning and executing ERP data migration and integration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and interface design across multiple source systems.
  • Experience managing enterprise software vendors and systems integrators, including statement-of-work scope, deliverable acceptance criteria, change-order control, and escalation.
  • Experience leading organizational change management, end-user training, and adoption measurement for enterprise platform deployments affecting multiple business units.
  • Strong work ethic and collegial collaboration skills.
