About the Role
Mercor is seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee social media, content, and campaigns. This role offers significant range and ownership within a fast-growing AI company, working closely with product marketing, design, research, and go-to-market teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns across email, social, web, and events.
- Manage Mercor's presence on X and LinkedIn, monitoring AI research, founder, and VC conversations.
- Drive distribution for the company podcast, including launch plans and social clips.
- Write blog posts, emails, landing pages, and launch assets.
- Manage owned channels and marketing website updates, including creating and testing landing pages.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Active presence on X, following AI researchers, VCs, and tech enthusiasts to understand conversation drivers.
- Experience managing social media for a brand or growing a personal account.
- Excellent writing and editing skills for both technical and business audiences.
- Hands-on experience in multiple marketing areas (e.g., content, email, social, events, web).
- Daily use of AI tools and experience building time-saving workflows or automations (but not relying on them for writing).
- Scrappy, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
