About the Role
Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) seeks candidates with broad expertise in pharmaceutical sciences for a non-tenure track teaching faculty position. This role involves teaching existing courses, developing new ones, and mentoring students in BS, MS, and PharmD programs. Opportunities for research collaboration exist, and a commitment to teaching excellence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and development of courses in BS, MS, and PharmD programs, aligned with discipline and expertise.
- Service on a broad variety of committees.
- Advising and mentoring of students across multiple programs.
Requirements
- Ph.D. (or other terminal degree) in pharmaceutical sciences disciplines.
- Prior academic experience and/or experience in teaching in a Doctor of Pharmacy program.
- Excellent communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and student development.
- Participation in the service missions of the College.
