Responsibilities
- Responding to emergency calls
- Providing immediate medical care to patients
- Safely transporting patients to medical facilities
- Assessing patients' conditions
- Administering necessary medical treatments
- Communicating with hospital staff to ensure a smooth handoff of care
- Operating and maintaining medical equipment
- Documenting patient information accurately
- Adhering to all safety protocols
- Receiving comprehensive training and ongoing support
Requirements
- Valid EMT certification
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Familiarity with medical equipment
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects or patients
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Ability to use communication devices such as radios or cell phones
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
