About the Role

Responsibilities
- Facilitate activities, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
- Create and/or oversee activity spaces for camper self-selected activities.
- Work in rotating support roles throughout camp.
- Actively supervise campers.
- Maintain an organized and approachable activity space.
- Ensure compliance with Camp Policies.
- Report and record details of notable concerns, incidents, and injuries.
- Keep track of camper allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Add daily updates and photos to campers’ profiles.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children (1 year preferred) in a professional, personal, or volunteer setting.
- First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp.
- Must comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Steve & Kate's Camp, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training.
- Must work in person in a school-aged camp setting to provide supervision, care, program delivery, and services.
- Must maintain and follow all safety and health rules of the location.
- Must assist in camp set-up and breakdown during move-in and out weekends.
- Must stand for long periods while supervising children and facilitating activities.
- Must participate in athletic games.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
