About the Role
Global-e is seeking a skilled Senior Solutions Engineer to support Sales, Project, Product, and R&D teams. This role involves conducting technical discussions with online retailers and brands to facilitate their cross-border e-commerce expansion with Global-e.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology and integration tracks in client meetings (face-to-face and remote).
- Stay updated on Global-e's system developments.
- Relay client feedback, inputs, and requests to Product and R&D teams.
- Help clients understand Global-e's platform capabilities and resolve technical roadblocks.
- Identify and qualify business opportunities, address technical objections, and develop resolution strategies.
- Recommend integration strategies and provide best-practice advice for optimizing the Global-e platform.
- Serve as a technical focal point for client integrations, demonstrating and prototyping integrations.
- Provide ongoing technical education and assistance to partners and clients.
- Become a product expert by participating in internal technical discussions and contributing field-level feedback.
- Act as a mediator between Product and R&D teams.
- Contribute to building best practices and supporting the broader team.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in solution design or integration with direct client interaction in a SaaS environment; solutions engineer role preferred.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Firm understanding of systems integration concepts, API implementation (RESTful services), and relational databases (SQL).
- Established problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various technological environments, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT space.
- Ability to multitask and perform under deadlines in a changing environment.
- Previous experience in eCommerce and Logistics/Operations is a strong advantage.
