About the Role

The US Operations Supervisor leads Warehouse, Production, and Repair operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory accuracy, and customer-service objectives. This role is accountable for workforce performance, capacity and labor planning, KPI management, continuous improvement, and consistent execution of operating procedures. The Operations Supervisor develops frontline employees and partners with the Operations Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve constraints and improve end-to-end operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own daily and weekly operating performance against defined safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory accuracy, productivity, and repair/service KPIs and SLAs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the team, analyze gaps and root causes, assign corrective actions, and report operating status and risks to the Operations Manager.
  • Plan labor capacity, cross-train, balance workload, and manage overtime to meet demand, production schedules, repair commitments, and customer-service requirements.
  • Recruit, interview, select, onboard, coach, develop, recognize, and retain employees; conduct performance evaluations and administer corrective action in accordance with company policy.
  • Coordinate Warehouse, Production, Repair, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Customer Service priorities to resolve material constraints, order exceptions, backlogs, and other customer-impacting issues.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through transaction discipline, cycle-count execution, reconciliation of discrepancies, and timely escalation of material availability risks.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects that improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, workflow, and inventory accuracy; sustain gains through standard work and documented controls.
  • Maintain and improve SOPs, work instructions, training records, and process controls; ensure personnel are trained and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Lead safety compliance, workplace inspections, incident investigations, corrective actions, and risk-reduction activities in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Ensure operational quality controls, nonconformance containment, corrective actions, and audit readiness across inbound, production, repair, and outbound processes.
  • Manage assigned operating-budget elements, including labor, overtime, supplies, equipment maintenance, and improvement-project spending; identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Coordinate facility and equipment maintenance priorities to minimize downtime and maintain safe, reliable operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience managing multiple functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees across multiple functional teams.
  • Experience conducting performance reviews, resolving employee relations issues, and administering corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse, production, repair, inventory-control, and shipping/logistics processes.
  • Experience managing operational KPIs, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing sustainable corrective actions.

  • Knowledge of LTL, FTL, parcel shipping, freight compliance, and carrier requirements.
  • Ability to plan labor, prioritize competing work, manage budgets or operating costs, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
