About the Role
CNAs have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, fostering genuine connections and creating vibrant communities where seniors can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Provides person-centered assistance with ADLs, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and room preparation, per the care plan.
- Monitors residents’ condition, responds to needs promptly, reports changes or incidents to the licensed nurse, and accurately documents care each shift.
- Promotes dignity, respect, resident rights, and effective communication while following safety, infection prevention, universal precautions, body mechanics, and equipment-use standards.
- Participates in meetings, training, continuing education, on-call duties, and other assigned responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Current on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
