About the Role
Support cloud financial reporting, governance, forecasting, and cost optimization across a large enterprise environment. Improve cloud cost transparency and OPEX management by collaborating with application, technology, and finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly cloud financial reporting, forecasting, and trend analysis.
- Prepare governance packs, FinOps metrics, and management reporting.
- Coordinate monthly Cloud OPEX reviews with application and technology teams.
- Analyze cloud spend, forecasts, and variances to identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Track savings initiatives, remediation actions, and stakeholder commitments.
- Support IOP planning and cloud financial analysis.
- Provide operational and reporting support for a Python-based custom tool.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years' experience in Cloud FinOps, financial analysis, business reporting, or IT operations.
- Exposure to cloud financials across AWS, Azure, and/or OCI.
- Experience with reporting, forecasting, OPEX analysis, and cost optimization.
- Technical aptitude with exposure to Python or Python-based reporting tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently within a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Full Australian working rights required.
- Candidates must be based in Sydney or Melbourne, or be able to work onsite as required.
