About the Role
Morning Brew is seeking a creator to host a daily video podcast and appear in social content for its Brew Markets franchise, covering the latest market news and breaking down complex financial topics for a smart, engaged audience.
Responsibilities
- Host recurring video and audio segments on markets, including earnings reactions, Fed days, and "what actually happened" explainers.
- Write scripts to cover financial topics in the Brew voice.
- Build a recognizable on-air presence and create content that connects with audiences across digital platforms.
- Appear for live tapings, audience Q&As, and company events as the face of market coverage.
- Collaborate with editorial, social, and revenue teams to deliver branded segments that align with the Brew's editorial tone and client priorities.
- Analyze performance data with audience and insights teams to understand audience affinity and content impact.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience creating markets content, including on-camera or on-air content, writing, hosting, or reporting, ideally in the markets/business/finance space.
- Deep enthusiasm for markets and business news.
- A portfolio demonstrating the ability to hold audience attention.
- Strong interview skills and ability to adapt quickly, both on and off-script.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work collaboratively while maintaining ownership of work and deliverables.
- Ability to work from Morning Brew's New York office 4 days a week.
