About the Role
The Front Desk role requires clear communication skills to provide information about resort services, activities, and surrounding areas, ensuring guests have a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests during check-in and check-out, phone interaction, and face-to-face interaction.
- Answer guest questions, provide directions, and share information about resort events and schedules.
- Modify reservations to accommodate guest needs.
- Monitor guests within the store.
- Follow all rules and policies.
- Remain calm in stressful situations and be knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
Requirements
- Previous cash handling experience.
- Previous computer experience.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful working environment.
- Ability to multitask.
- Enthusiastic about interacting with and helping guests.
- Receptive to special requests.
- Willing to follow instructions and take direction.
- Must be available during the weekend.
- Must be willing to perform cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping.
- Must be able to remain stationary for long periods.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to use hands and arms constantly to input data into the computer.
- Must be able to converse directly and by phone.
