About the Role
Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations in the production of filtration products by improving safety, ergonomics, and productivity. The role involves identifying and developing production, assembly, and testing processes and procedures, and collaborating cross-functionally with project management, operations, quality, and safety teams.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing operations in the production of filtration products by improving safety, ergonomics, and productivity.
- Identify and develop production, assembly & testing process and procedures.
- Work cross functionally with project management, operations, quality and safety.
- Participate and lead small teams in continuous improvement events to improve manufacturing processes.
- Find creative and novel solutions using a data driven mindset.
- Generate, revise and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and piping & instrumentation diagrams.
- Focus on efficiencies in all areas of the manufacturing process.
- Reduce process variation, reduce waste, create standard work, and optimize cell design to correct quality and process upsets.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 3+ years of professional experience in Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering).
- Experience identifying and implementing improvements to processes, tools and tooling.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements under minimal supervision.
