About the Role
Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Production Planner to develop production and supply plans, optimize subassembly production, and manage raw material supply. This role is crucial for ensuring on-time delivery and managing costs, quality, and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Develop production schedules to provide on-time delivery of finished goods for customer orders.
- Review part requirements generated by MRP or Kanban triggers and utilize Pall’s Enterprise System (SAP) to evaluate component material requirements.
- Release manufacturing production orders and communicate with operations personnel regarding schedule delays, customer expedites or cancellations, and schedule attainment concerns.
- Provide production lead times based on material lead times, production capacity, and capability.
- Collaborate with necessary functions to determine appropriate responses to customers or sales entities.
- Control cost, quality, schedule, inventory, and health, safety & environmental activities for the location.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing materials, planning, and scheduling, or an Associate degree with 5-7 years of related experience.
- Experience with continuous improvement systems and processes.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- SAP Business System Experience, preferred.
