About the Role
This internship will allow you to work across multiple functional areas including our Analytics and Business Intelligence Teams providing you with daily exposure to top-level business intelligence analysts, actuaries, underwriters, and executives in the field.
Responsibilities
- Document complex business requirements and translate to technical coding steps/UI Design
- Query Data Warehouse Tables and Develop ETL Pipelines
- Design and Construct Scalable Data Models to be leveraged for Data Analysis and Visualization
- Visualize data by creating interactive reports and dashboards for Business Partners
Requirements
- Must be able to work out of our Raleigh, North Carolina office without housing assistance or relocation assistance from IAT Insurance Group.
- Must be able to complete the entirety of the 10-week internship program (May 24th, 2027 to July 30th, 2027).
- Rising undergraduate Junior or Senior (Graduate Students also encouraged) majoring in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Analytical thinking skills

- Strong communication skills both with Technical and business resources
- Willingness to learn
- Proficient with Microsoft office
- Ability to work independently
- Above average computer skills
