About the Role
Systems Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of the Firm’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise environments, both on prem and in Microsoft cloud, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and optimizing system performance with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain iManage Work environments and related document management solutions.
- Work with APIs, REST services, connectors, and automation tools to support integration and business workflows.
- Coordinate with iManage support and third-party vendors for escalations and complex technical projects.
- Configuring and troubleshooting core services including DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc.
- Work closely with IS Operations and Networking to achieve optimal performance of supported technologies.
- Quarterly participation in weekly 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a strong Systems Administrator
- Experience administering enterprise applications, SaaS and On-Prem.
- Current experience as administrator in Microsoft Cloud platforms (Azure, EntraID, M365).
- Familiarity with InTune MDM preferred.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (firewalls, VPNs, switches, DNS, load balancers).
- Web server administration experience (IIS, Apache, Tomcat) preferred.
- Very strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to create and maintain detailed system documentation.
- Creative thinker with proven problem-solving ability.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative flat organization.
