About the Role

In this role, you will own the positioning, launch, and sales strategy for our product portfolio. You will lead a small team, establishing the function's operating rhythm in close collaboration with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and the Director of Growth.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a release marketing framework for features and new products to drive engagement and pipeline.
  • Plan and execute launches for new products, features, and enhancements across software and advisory services.
  • Design and refine the launch framework, including tiers, timelines, owners, and readiness criteria.
  • Partner with Product on roadmap, beta programs, and customer research to incorporate market feedback into product decisions.
  • Lead go-to-market messaging for integrated products or services acquired through acquisition.
  • Own positioning, messaging, and value propositions for the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the platform story.
  • Tailor messaging for specific ideal customer profiles (ICPs), segments, geographies, verticals, and personas.
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, outcome-led narratives.
  • Write high-impact copy for product pages, launch announcements, sales narratives, and in-product messages.
  • Build and maintain a messaging house and style guide for consistent product communication.
  • Equip commercial teams with sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, demo narratives, battlecards, and FAQs.
  • Conduct product training for Sales and Customer Success teams and maintain enablement materials.
  • Own competitive intelligence and conduct win/loss analysis to inform messaging and pricing.
  • Source proof points and customer stories to substantiate claims.
  • Collaborate with Product and Digital Customer Success on in-product and lifecycle marketing to drive adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Manage product content on the website with digital teams and agencies, and test new tactics like interactive demos.
  • Line manage, coach, and develop the product marketing team, setting clear priorities and high standards.
  • Build the function’s operating rhythm, including planning, briefs, review cycles, and a shared backlog with Product and Commercial.
  • Set and report on product marketing metrics, including adoption, pipeline, bookings, win rate, and launch performance.
  • Represent product marketing in growth planning with the Director of Growth and senior leaders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 4 years in dedicated product marketing, demonstrating measurable revenue impact.
  • Experience managing or mentoring product marketers, or readiness to step into line management.
  • A portfolio of successful launches across segments, geographies, or verticals, showcasing both strategy and execution.
  • Experience selling to senior buyers in long, multi-stakeholder Enterprise and Mid-Market sales cycles.
  • Experience in enablement work that measurably improved win rates, deal velocity, or sales confidence.
  • Ability to translate complex technology, including AI, into a sharp value proposition understandable by a board director.
  • Proficiency in using competitive intelligence and win/loss data for decision-making.
  • Analytical skills to set metrics, interpret data, and link work to pipeline, revenue, and adoption.
  • Exceptional writing skills with clear, precise, and persuasive copy.
  • An eye for quality in copy, layout, and design, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • Meticulous attention to detail regarding accuracy of claims, product names, and proofreading.
  • Strategic and hands-on approach, comfortable with tasks ranging from writing battlecards to presenting to leadership.
  • Strong operating discipline, including planning, prioritization, meeting deadlines, and proactive stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborative work style with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
  • Resilience and adaptability to change priorities without losing momentum.
  • Confidence with HubSpot, Salesforce, Confluence, Jira, and a website CMS.
