  • Take ambiguous or loosely defined briefs and structure them into clear project plans with defined deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Build and codify delivery methodologies into repeatable, scalable frameworks.
  • Design and lead workshops, stakeholder interviews, and co-creation sessions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to mid-to-senior client contacts.
  • Anticipate and respond to client questions in a compelling and informed way.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and work with senior leadership to convert them.
  • Contribute meaningfully to proposals and pitch responses.
  • Build client relationships that generate repeat work.
  • Coach and develop Consultants on the team.
  • Drive practice IP development, including reusable frameworks, case studies, and proposition collateral.
  • Work across WPP's integrated network, connecting consulting recommendations to execution in content, CX, and commerce.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience with a strong track record in consulting, strategy, or senior commercial/digital roles.
  • Deep understanding of how commerce ecosystems work, including the intersection of trading, content, category management, channel strategy, and technology.
  • Working knowledge of AI discoverability (GEO, AEO, LLM-influenced discovery, AI assistants, and conversational commerce).
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently, managing scope, quality, and client expectations.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence.
  • Experience building methodology or practice IP, such as frameworks or playbooks.
  • Brand-side experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or commercial leadership is ideal.
  • Experience in at least two of the following sectors: CPG/FMCG, Consumer health, Automotive, Retail, Telecom is ideal.
  • Change management or enablement experience is ideal.
  • Line management or mentoring experience is ideal.
  • Hands-on curiosity with AI tools, LLMs, agentic platforms, or similar is a plus.
