About the Role
Perform Latin-American Spanish language checks for translated game software, identifying and reporting linguistic errors, ensuring terminology consistency, and verifying adherence to console manufacturer guidelines. This role involves evaluating translation quality within the context of the game's story and scenes, suggesting improvements, and confirming bug fixes.
Responsibilities
- Find spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other linguistic errors.
- Confirm that terminology is unified according to the developer's localization policy.
- Confirm that the notation method follows the guidelines of the game console manufacturer.
- Examine translation quality considering the story and scenes in the game.
- Report errors clearly and concisely on the bug database.
- Suggest more appropriate translations.
- Ensure bugs are fixed and implemented correctly in the next version.
- Repeat the cycle until the game is completed.
Requirements
- Native-level Latin-American Spanish proficiency.
- Attention to detail.
- Plays video games daily.
- Basic PC operation skills (Word/Excel).
- Work 5 days a week on a short-term project basis.
- Currently residing in Japan with a valid working visa.
