About the Role
Daikin Applied is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital M&A Senior Manager to lead and optimize digital organization activities for acquisitions, separations, and partnerships. This role represents the digital organization in enterprise M&A discussions, collaborating with corporate development and business teams to advance the company’s growth agenda and ensure successful assessment and execution of new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead Digital Due Diligence, assessing target digital environments including infrastructure, security, data, and applications.
- Synthesize findings and recommendations by coordinating cross-functional input, developing cost and risk assessments, and presenting insights and integration/separation hypotheses to senior leadership.
- Lead Post-Close Activities by building and executing Digital’s integration and separation plans from close through scope completion.
- Partner with Daikin and target businesses, functional organizations, cross-functional groups, and other stakeholders throughout the M&A process.
- Measure and Realize Value by tracking digital synergies and performance metrics post-close.
- Develop the Digital M&A Playbook by creating standardized methodologies, templates, and repeatable processes.
- Institutionalize Best Practices by capturing lessons learned to continuously refine governance, tools, and execution approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8 years of related experience working on M&A projects at an organization or consulting firm.
- Experience working in an IT organization, ideally with multiple functional areas (e.g., infrastructure, applications, program management).
- Program management experience, and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience and comfort with uncertainty and the ability to define assumptions to draft plans and estimates.
- Demonstrated experience executing due diligence, integration and separation planning, and execution across all aspects of digital work streams (e.g., infrastructure, security, data, applications (CRM, ERP, etc.)), and business processes.
- Strong business process and strategic analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, cross-functional collaboration abilities with digital and business leaders.
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence senior leaders across functions.

- $100,800 - $171,700 plus a 15% bonus
