About the Role
Join our expanding Valuation & Advisory team in London as an experienced Senior Surveyor specializing in Niche Markets. You will provide valuation and advisory services across specialist real estate sectors like Data Centres and Life Sciences, working with a diverse client base and developing sector expertise.
Responsibilities
- Deliver valuations across specialist sectors including data centres, life sciences and other niche markets
- Undertake valuations for secured lending, financial reporting, acquisition, disposal and strategic purposes
- Provide valuation and strategic advice to a wide range of clients
- Prepare detailed cash flows, investment valuations and development appraisals
- Research and analyse market and transactional evidence
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
- Support the preparation of pitches and business development activity
- Work closely with other C&W service lines on client instructions
Requirements
- MRICS qualified
- Experience in commercial property valuation
- Strong understanding of investment valuations and development appraisals
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience with Argus Enterprise and/or Developer would be beneficial
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple instructions and work to deadlines
- Experience in data centres, life sciences or other specialist real estate sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Consideration for candidates with strong transferable valuation experience looking to develop a career in niche markets.
