About the Role
As a People & Culture Manager at Perseus, you will play a crucial role in shaping and improving the entire employee lifecycle within a growing company. You will have the opportunity to own and develop key HR functions, including personnel processes, learning and development, recruiting, and organizational development, working closely with the CEO and the existing People & Culture colleague. The responsibilities will be shaped based on your strengths, offering significant scope and impact.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve all personnel processes, including contracts, terminations, payroll preparation, benefits, vacation planning, workation, and onboarding/offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor law regulations.
- Optimize and automate HR processes using tools like Personio and AI.
- Build and own the learning & development offering, from onboarding enablement to targeted training.
- Develop career paths and a competency framework for transparent growth.
- Own and improve the feedback and development cycle, including development conversations and retrospectives.
- Develop and implement initiatives to strengthen company culture.
- Advise and coach people leads to build strong teams and evolve roles, structures, and collaboration.
- Serve as a main point of contact for employees on HR-related questions.
- Organize and lead team events and offsites.
- Manage recruiting processes end to end, from defining needs to working with external partners.
- Ensure the hiring process is fast, structured, and provides a great candidate experience.
- Drive strategic P&C and organizational development projects with the People & Culture team and management.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in People & Culture, ideally in a fast-growing company.
- Solid knowledge of operational HR processes and the basics of German labor law.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for people and culture.
- Experience in team or organizational development, such as facilitating retrospectives, workshops, or team development processes.
- Experience with HR software like Personio and a strong interest in automating processes.
- Experience in advising and coaching managers is a plus.
- A structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working.
- Enjoy sharing responsibility within a small team.
- Fluent in German and English.
