About the Role
The Core Product Experience (CPX) team owns the heart of the Front application, focusing on enabling frontline users to triage and route conversations, collaborate effectively, and craft high-quality replies. CPX aims to enhance user efficiency, quality of work, and daily experience, supporting key company initiatives like new ICPs and Copilot feature adoption. This role is central to Front's product strategy, especially with the company's investment in AI-powered workflows.
Responsibilities
- Implement end-to-end delivery of high-impact, complex initiatives, owning technical execution from problem framing through iteration.
- Drive technical direction across the stack, influencing architecture, API design, and performance strategy for high-traffic, distributed workflows.
- Partner deeply with Product and Design to shape requirements, identify risks, surface open questions, propose alternatives, and align on tradeoffs.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Raise the bar for quality and maintainability by improving testing, observability, and engineering standards.
- Reduce regressions and enable faster iteration through better tooling and code health.
- Grow others and strengthen the team by providing mentorship, constructive code review, and sharing best practices.
- Foster a collaborative, low-ego engineering culture.
Requirements
- Strong fullstack experience, comfortable working across systems, stacks, and distributed systems.
- A track record of delivering large projects and complex work in a timely manner.
- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Design to work through scope, risks, and open questions before and during delivery.
- An agile mindset; comfortable learning new technologies, adapting quickly, and doing what it takes to ship when the situation calls for it.
