About the Role
Lead the architectural design and development of advanced simulation and regression testing tools to ensure the safety and reliability of autonomous driving systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of simulation tools for high-throughput, real-time execution.
- Design and develop AI-enabled frameworks for generating simulation and log-based test cases using real-world driving data.
- Partner with software, robotics, and systems engineers to enable diverse simulation modalities.
- Contribute to long-term technical roadmaps for testing infrastructure by evaluating internal and third-party tools.
- Guide junior and mid-level engineers through best practices, code reviews, and system design advocacy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in modern C++ (C++14 or newer).
- Proven expertise in architecting and deploying scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Experience with modern graphics APIs (e.g., OpenGL, Vulkan) is a plus.
- Strong applied knowledge of linear algebra and computational geometry is a plus.
- Prior experience with robotics frameworks like ROS2 is a plus.
