About the Role
RM Watson is seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a key leadership role in delivering major remedial construction projects and driving successful outcomes for clients. This role involves end-to-end project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence in challenging live environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, procurement, subcontractor management, contract management, programme oversight, and stakeholder communication.
- Proactively manage project risks.
- Maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and legislative requirements.
- Uphold RM Watson’s reputation for integrity, technical expertise, and high-quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related fields or relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end project management.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the construction industry, ideally within remedial or structural works.
- Experience managing $3M plus projects.
- Strong working knowledge of building codes, remedial construction methods, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors on-site.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to build solid relationships with the team and client.
- Proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- High level of organisation with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
