About the Role
Susquehanna is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist for their Sydney office. This role involves providing high-level support and customer service, working with colleagues globally to deliver projects and solutions within the APAC region. You will gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, from desktops to networks, and collaborate with specialist engineers on IT infrastructure implementation, maintenance, and support. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys delivering solutions and providing excellent support within a technology-focused trading firm.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of support and customer service to the Sydney office.
- Work with local and international colleagues to deliver projects and solutions within the APAC region.
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and support of all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to manage scalable and highly performant systems.
- Integrate sophisticated coding techniques with innovative engineering ideas to design and optimize systems.
- Support leading-edge hardware and software technologies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in supporting office technologies (e.g., Desktops, MS Windows, Phones).
- Ability to self-motivate, identify issues, and drive resolutions involving multiple teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Great troubleshooting ability and logical thinking.
- Experience with Data Centre environments (racking and cabling) is an advantage.
- Some experience with networking, trading room environments, and trading applications (Bloomberg, etc.) would be an advantage.
