About the Role
This position is part of the Private Credit Investment team, based in New York. Responsibilities cover all aspects of private credit investing, including sourcing, due diligence, execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis for the assessment of prospective private credit investments.
- Perform LBO modeling, analyze due diligence materials, write internal investment committee memorandums, and contribute to investment committee discussions.
- Manage private credit investments, including monitoring company performance.
- Assist senior investment team members in building relationships with sponsors and other external parties.
- Conduct valuation assessments, product reporting, market research, and support fundraising efforts.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in an investment role (private credit/private equity), debt advisory, or investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A).
- Passion for investing in mid-market companies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop close relationships over time.
- Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail with demonstrable financial modeling skills.
- Strong academic record with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top university.
- Must have the right to work in the US.
