About the Role
Asana's Product Management team drives product strategy and execution, translating customer needs into a roadmap and delivering impactful solutions for team productivity and collaboration. This role will lead the Integrations Platform team, building the connective tissue between Asana and the broader tools, data systems, and developer ecosystem our customers rely on. You will define shared capabilities, architecture, and operating foundations for secure, reliable, and scalable integrations, including those for AI teammates. You are a technical product leader comfortable with API design, connectivity architecture, and backend systems, adept at navigating platform partnerships from technical scoping through go-to-market.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and prioritized roadmap for Asana’s integrations platform, connecting customer needs and business outcomes to scalable capabilities and differentiated experiences across ecosystem partners.
- Work closely with engineering to deliver reliable integration experiences, reasoning through APIs, authentication, connectivity, data flows, backend dependencies, and the trade-offs involved in building, partnering, and operating integrations at scale.
- Improve how customers discover, connect, configure, and get value from integrations, including relevant data onboarding, ingestion, synchronization, and processing experiences.
- Partner with design, research, data, and go-to-market teams to discover customer problems, ship iteratively, and measure outcomes such as integration adoption, reliability, time to onboard or reach value, retention, and growth.
- Manage vendor and partnership relationships end-to-end, from technical scoping to commercial and GTM alignment, understanding what makes a platform partnership actually work.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience, with a track record of launching and growing products in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, data platforms, developer platforms, or integrations.
- Technical fluency with APIs, connectivity, and backend systems; comfortable reasoning with engineers about architecture trade-offs, not just writing requirements.
- Experience building or managing integrations and platform partnerships, including aligning roadmaps, navigating constraints and dependencies, and balancing customer needs with platform/vendor considerations.
- Proven ability to manage the technical, commercial, and go-to-market dimensions of vendor and platform partnerships.
- Experience with iPaaS or other integration platforms is valuable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a data-informed approach to prioritization; able to define goals and use product signals to assess adoption, quality, customer value, and business impact.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle management and Agile/Lean product management principles.
