About the Role
This role offers an opportunity to leverage construction expertise into a specialist Quality career, influencing project delivery and driving quality outcomes across Built's project portfolio. You will partner closely with project teams to embed quality into every stage of delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams to implement and maintain Built's Quality Management System.
- Conduct site-based, materials and critical hold point inspections, ensuring quality is built into the product and process.
- Coach and support Engineers and Supervisors to deliver effective inspections and strong quality outcomes.
- Drive quality risk management, non-conformance close out and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
- Conduct audits, identify opportunities for improvement and help project teams deliver work to the highest standard.
Requirements
- Experience within the building construction industry, and a strong understanding of project delivery environments.
- A sound understanding of construction methodology and how quality is achieved on site.
- The confidence to undertake inspections, identify issues and work collaboratively towards solutions.
- Strong attention to detail combined with a practical, problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and quality management principles.
- Curiosity, a willingness to learn and the ability to influence project teams through coaching and support.
- Experience with quality management platforms such as Aconex, Smartsheets or similar is beneficial.
