About the Role
As a Senior Associate / Vice President within Nomura Greentech, you will work directly with senior bankers on client transactions, gaining accelerated responsibility and client exposure. This role involves servicing and executing client deals, covering clients, developing thought leadership, and executing transactions in the sustainable technology and infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients and deal teams on live transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings, financings, and derivative transactions.
- Produce and present ideas at client meetings as a member of a deal team alongside senior bankers.
- Support transactions and client presentations through financial, structural, and business risk analysis.
- Actively participate in covering clients, leveraging proprietary content and generating value-additive ideas.
- Manage Associates & Analysts to execute deliverables for clients and support the training and mentoring of junior professionals.
Requirements
- Outstanding academic qualifications; strong GPA
- Prior investment banking experience; bulge bracket or boutique program training a plus
- Passion for the business opportunities in energy transition and sustainable infrastructure
- Series 79 and 63, or willingness to sit for the exams required
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
