About the Role
The position will assist in risk management for Global Markets and Treasury businesses, focusing on IT systems, data management, and user access controls in compliance with bank policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance of related information and management systems.
- Maintain proper user access controls of related systems according to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure the correctness and accuracy of business and risk data according to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Perform data maintenance of risk control systems.
- Assist in implementing new systems according to the Bank’s overall plan.
- Assist with new activity processes concerning I.T. issues.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
- Monitor and control related risks in the global markets and treasury business.
- Investigate violations and irregularities, ensuring breaches of risk limits are addressed, reported, and documented.
- Prepare routine reports and support ad hoc business and risk analysis reports for management and Head Office.
- Prepare risk warning reports.
- Collect market information and report to the head of department when necessary.
- Prepare research reports as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of financial market business related experience.
- Knowledge of financial market products (Foreign exchange, money market, Fixed Income, Interest Rate Swap, Repo, etc…) is required.
- Knowledge of related risk management is required.
- Familiarity in Bloomberg and other platforms is required.
- Experience related to SQL, VBA, Python is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities in both English and Chinese are highly preferred.
