About the Role

This product management role is for a recent MBA graduate who wants to build products that change how heart disease is diagnosed and managed. You will own a customer-facing area of the Heartflow platform, focusing on its integration into hospital and physician workflows, systems, and businesses. Success will be measured by customer adoption, reliance, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer discovery by understanding end-to-end CCTA program workflows and translating observations into problem statements.
  • Define platform integration with clinical and IT environments, including EMR, PACS, and reporting systems, and collaborate with engineering on delivery.
  • Write user needs, use cases, and functional requirements, partnering with UX and Product Design on workflows and wireframes.
  • Build business cases for features and product extensions, covering market size, customer value, adoption, reimbursement, and revenue impact.
  • Prioritize the roadmap with product leadership and stakeholders based on business cases.
  • Work with engineering through implementation, managing scope and timing trade-offs, and evaluating builds.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Education on launch readiness, positioning, training, and onboarding.
  • Track adoption and usage post-release and feed learnings back into the roadmap.
  • Work with Quality and Regulatory to maintain traceability and audit-ready design history under design controls.
  • Evaluate changes for their effect on user error, patient safety, privacy, and security.
  • Provide clear, data-backed updates on progress, customer feedback, and risk to leadership and partners.

Requirements

  • Ability to frame ambiguous problems, size opportunities, build a business case, and defend recommendations with data.
  • Curiosity about clinician and hospital team workflows, grounding decisions in observation.
  • Comfort discussing system design, data flows, and cloud software with engineers.
  • Willingness to learn healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
  • Genuine interest in healthcare, medical devices, or digital health.
  • Clear, concise writing and speaking for clinical, technical, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared goal without formal authority.
  • Strong eye for workflow and usability, especially where product output informs clinical decisions.
  • Bias for action and comfort working where priorities and constraints change within a regulated environment.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites (approximately 20%).
