Responsibilities
- Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting business requirements.
- Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions.
- Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications.
- Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
- Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
- Participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
Requirements
- Experience in Data Integration, ETL Development, and Production Support.
- Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) development, maintenance, and support.
- Hands-on experience in IBM DataStage development and support.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, and Performance Tuning.
- Experience in monitoring and supporting batch processing and ETL workflows in production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve data, application, and performance issues.
- Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination abilities.
- Provide L2/L3 production support for ETL applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job failures, data issues, and performance bottlenecks within defined SLA timelines.
- Analyze production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
