About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to define and build OpenAI’s financial services products. You will own product strategy, roadmap, and execution, taking products from customer discovery through launch and iteration. This is a hands-on role requiring deep customer interaction and collaboration with Engineering, Design, and Research teams.

Responsibilities

Own product strategy and priorities, translating customer problems into a clear roadmap.
Go deep on financial workflows by observing customers and understanding their tools and standards.
Build and ship products by creating prototypes, demos, and product requirements.
Partner with Engineering and Design to turn concepts into reliable products.
Raise the bar for quality and trust by defining and evaluating product performance.
Make products work inside financial institutions by addressing integration, data-access, privacy, and security requirements.
Measure results and drive adoption by defining success metrics and guiding product investment.
Partner with GTM and customer-facing teams on pilots, onboarding, and launches.

Requirements

Have a track record of taking complex products from discovery through launch and sustained adoption.
Understand financial work well enough to earn credibility with demanding practitioners.
Combine strong product taste with attention to detail.
Work comfortably with engineers and researchers on model behavior, data quality, integrations, and evaluations.
Use AI deeply in your own work and build prototypes to test ideas.
Know how to choose useful goals and metrics, test assumptions, and change priorities when the evidence changes.
Bring sound judgment about privacy, trust, and accuracy in consequential professional work.
Take ownership in ambiguous situations, drive decisions across teams you do not manage, and communicate clearly.
