About the Role
Arctic Bear Plumbing, Heating, Air & Water Treatment is seeking a HVAC Installer to join their team. We invest in our people and are committed to helping our team members grow through hands-on training and development. Candidates with at least one year of installation experience are encouraged to apply. We’re willing to train the right person and help them build their skills and advance their career.
Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigerant piping.
- Assist with HVAC installation projects and complete work according to company standards.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs on-site.
- Follow all local building codes, safety requirements, and company quality standards.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide excellent customer service.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, generators, and other equipment required for the job.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout each installation.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as an HVAC installer
- Experience with residential HVAC systems
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent required
Skills
- Strong HVAC technical knowledge
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lead a team and work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
