About the Role
NG Bailey Facilities Services seeks an experienced Fabric Supervisor for the Wembley Stadium contract. This role involves leading a team of four Fabric Technicians to maintain the stadium's appearance and functionality, handling everything from daily repairs to event preparation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Fabric Technicians, managing HR and operational aspects to foster a positive culture.
- Plan and execute scheduled fabric maintenance, including painting, decorating, carpentry, and inspections.
- Oversee fabric provisions during events, conducting pre-event surveys and repairs.
- Identify and promptly report fabric or plant issues to prevent impact on client operations or safety.
- Prepare and submit quotations for additional work.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality assurance standards, maintaining accurate records of completed works.
- Communicate effectively with management and client contacts to plan and agree on activities.
Requirements
- Experienced Fabric Supervisor with a high standard of work and customer service focus.
- Confident communicator thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in a fabric discipline (building, carpentry, decorating etc.).
- Experience supervising or leading a team in a similar fabric role.
- Experience with general building Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
