About the Role
Sub-Zero Group East seeks a Luxury Showroom Sous Chef/Sales Consultant for its Manhattan Showroom. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer experiences, educating consumers on high-end luxury appliances, and managing the sales process from consultation to project completion. The position also involves supporting culinary operations within the showroom.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional, engaging, and value-added showroom consultation for customers.
- Perform sous chef responsibilities.
- Support customers via telephone, booking appointments, sharing information, and uncovering needs.
- Maintain a beautiful and comfortable work environment for the team and guests.
- Partner with the Showroom Manager to ensure consistent high-quality service and follow-up.
- Support promotional showroom activity/events and overall operations.
- Work some nights to support culinary events.
Requirements
- Experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
- Experience in a culinary or kitchen support role.
- Ability to build value-added relationships with consumers.
- Skills in curating products based on customer needs.
- Proficiency in managing customer hand-offs to retail channels.
- Experience in food preparation, cooking demonstrations, and menu development.
- Experience with ordering and kitchen operations.
- Ability to maintain a comfortable and appealing work environment.
- Willingness to work some nights.
