About the Role
Kranus Health is seeking a software engineer to build digital therapeutics for urology and gynecology. You will develop patient-facing applications and backend services, contributing across the full stack. Your work will directly impact patients as regulated medical software and scale across all company therapies.
Responsibilities
- Build features across mobile applications and backend services, from patient-facing screens to APIs and data models.
- Take scoped features from problem understanding through implementation, testing, and release.
- Work with coding agents daily, reviewing, testing, and taking responsibility for AI-assisted code.
- Investigate bugs across the app and backend, identify causes, and implement fixes.
Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals with experience in mobile, frontend, or backend development.
- Ability to read unfamiliar code, reason about its behavior, and explain trade-offs.
- Full-stack mindset, willing to work across mobile, backend, and web.
- Proficiency in AI-native engineering, using coding agents as part of the daily workflow.
- Commitment to code quality, including readable, maintainable code and thorough testing.
- Systematic troubleshooting skills, focusing on root causes and using evidence like logs and debugger output.
- Ownership and collaboration, including clarifying requirements, flagging blockers, and participating in code reviews.
