About the Role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our investment team, playing a hands-on role in implementing, maintaining, and supporting our Model Portfolio Service across various investment platforms. This fast-paced, varied role is ideal for someone comfortable taking ownership in a growing, technology-driven environment, offering a unique opportunity beyond standard investment responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Manage and operate discretionary model portfolios for financial advice firms on a daily basis.
Design, improve, and maintain processes for investment operations and associated tools.
Administer and monitor client portfolios, including cash management, rebalancing, and ongoing oversight.
Respond to adviser queries and provide operational support during onboarding and throughout the client relationship.
Build and maintain effective relationships with platform partners, collaborating for mutual client benefit.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements and apply them consistently.
Support the migration of new client assets in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Experience in investment operations, platform operations, or a similar role within asset management, DFM, fintech, or a financial planning business.
Solid understanding of model portfolio services and their implementation on investment platforms.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence working with data, systems, and technology, including learning new tools and processes.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external providers.
Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
Understanding of financial advisers' roles and challenges.
Highly numerate.
Work experience in a DFM or MPS business (ideal).
Advanced Excel and VBA skills (ideal).
Knowledge of coding (ideal).
