About the Role

This role partners our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization, including Sales, Customer Impact, B2B Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Enablement. You will work directly with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and their leadership team, acting as both an advisor and operator to help leaders make better decisions and ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CRO, Sales SVP, and leadership teams on performance, productivity, and team effectiveness.
  • Translate commercial targets into people plans that drive measurable results.
  • Coach managers on performance, decision-making, and maintaining high standards.
  • Challenge senior leaders directly when decisions are suboptimal.
  • Shape GTM organizational design, role clarity, and leveling to enhance efficiency.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Reward, and Finance on compensation structures, quota, and incentive design.
  • Justify headcount decisions based on commercial return.
  • Own performance cycles, calibrations, and promotion decisions across GTM.
  • Proactively manage performance issues and build manager capability in this area.
  • Develop succession depth to mitigate key-person risk.
  • Manage complex employee relations and restructuring initiatives with sound judgment.
  • Apply policy pragmatically in a fast-paced, commercially pressured environment.
  • Utilize AI to streamline operational tasks, focusing time on high-impact activities.

Requirements

  • Experience partnering with a quota-carrying sales organization.
  • Experience through an efficiency inflection, not solely growth.
  • Ability to help leaders reduce costs without impacting revenue.
  • Fluency in Go-To-Market (GTM) metrics such as ramp time, attainment distribution, revenue per head, attrition, and cost of sale.
  • Ability to handle complex performance and employee relations situations at volume and pace.
  • Willingness to have difficult but necessary conversations while balancing relationships.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a focus on sustainable impact.
  • Demonstrated use of AI in personal workflow with measurable changes.
  • Experience in large organizations with Centers of Excellence is not ideal, as this role involves building as much as running.
