About the Role
Join our Enterprise Technology team as an Endpoint Engineer, taking ownership of HRT’s existing iOS and Android mobile device program. You will grow and mature the program end-to-end, focusing on zero-touch enrollment, managed app distribution, compliance, security controls, telemetry, configuration-as-code, and safe retirement. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on troubleshooting with long-term systems thinking to deliver visible improvements at scale.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a best-in-class managed mobile experience
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and serve as the escalation point for mobile endpoint engineering, security, and deployment-related issues
- Investigate recurring problems, provide long-term solutions, and maintain clear documentation
- Research, test, and implement best practices for technical stack and processes
- Educate end users on best practices and help improve adoption of workflows and tools
Requirements
- Deep knowledge and experience with iOS and Android device management
- Experience provisioning, deploying, and maintaining mobile endpoints using Apple Business and an MDM system (e.g., Jamf Pro, Workspace One, Microsoft Intune)
- Experience managing device configuration as code (Git-based workflows, CI, progressive rollout)
- Proficiency scripting and building tools with Bash or Python
- Familiarity with endpoint security fundamentals, identity integration (Entra ID, Okta, or similar), and conditional access
- A general design approach that incorporates security best practices, business continuity, and scalability
- A collaborative, can-do mindset and willingness to support others
- Ability to effectively communicate in technical and non-technical language
- Ability to empathize with the end-user and swiftly craft solutions under pressure
